These are a very high quality bino with a Euro-styling trend of American camo patterns on high viz backgrounds, more of a European Jager attraction than an American hunter. These were marketed for hunters on stands during drive hunts in Europe where visility is required. Great quality glass and lens, good value for the price here. If you can get past the color, they are a good investment at the price.

Greg, are you a dealer or have you actually used the bino in the field? Your post sounds more like a copy/paste from a website than actual user input. Would love to know if you have any real field experience with this product. They are ugly as sin but with the fact that no one is “pulling the trigger”, maybe we can get a bigger price cut.

Color is bright, but after looking through them I agreed that they are solid glass. The former head buyer for Sportsman’s told me the other day that he thought they were a great bino but also agreed the color is a shocker.
I’m working on a price reduction on this. Stand by.

I have used them in Germany many times with my hunting buddies. Didn’t buy a pair as I had Steiners. You don’t usually IMO see this brand for sale in the US. If you can get past the color, and with Kendall’s price drop, it’s a steal. My two cents.

Speaking of Steiner…may have some deals coming up from them. Thanks for the honest feedback on Minox Greg. With the color and the unknown brand here in the US, that particular bino from Minox I knew would be a tough sell. We may offer it up again at the reduced price.

Yeah, I kinda thought that might be a slow watch. I think most of us (hunters) have the same WTF reaction when we see camo on blaze orange…but you see it at Cabelas and such stores every year. I figured most CTPs wouldn’t be familiar with the brand, but Minox has been making cameras and optics in Europe for years, and have been well known for quality “spy” (super-compact) cameras.
Any hints on the Steiner specs?
If you run again these again with the price drop, I’ll have to jump on it too, as these are too good to pass up. Dad may get another surprise gift for the Fall elk season…

Missed it. Regardless of color, these would have been nice for the price. Will these be back for sale anytime soon or is it gone for good?

You must of misunderstood me Kendall on what I wrote a week ago. It was the Antelope Montana Decoy I wanted, not the whitetail Montana Decoy. Honest mistake, I am sure you will fix it. Because as you know I always get my way. Yea right!

that’s a drag, got all the way thru checkout only to find the decoy isn’t available for combined shipping

Shane – I’m sorry to frustrate you because of that. The box that these decoys require when combined with other items is very large and may very likely exceed size requirements with UPS and USPS. We just got a new box supplier that may have a better solution for us which I’ll look into and if so, we can move the whitetail buck to the other side of the aisle where it can go in combined orders. This is good feedback so thanks for mentioning it.

Would love to get my hands on a pair of these, never lose a pair in the woods again with them being that color!! I’m guessing they are sold out or is there a few pair left?

Great binos, picked them up last week. Focus knob is very smooth but has just the right amount of resistance. Rubberized outer shell makes the grip secure even when hunting in the rain. Twist up rubber eye cups that should little deeper to better cradle the eye. Comes with a neoprene strap and eyepiece cup.
Performance – excellent low light performance. Non glaring lens, the resolution is very good, no distortion around the edges, colors are true. Balance is good. The bridge once adjusted to your liking stays put which is something many binoculars in this price range have trouble doing.
There are two down falls, the first is the color – but I fixed that for $35.00. I took them to Tarjac (locally) and had them hydro dip these in Mathews Lost Camo. No problems with the process since they are waterproof down to 9 feet.
Second downfall is the weight – almost 2lbs, a little heavier than most 10×42 but not a problem for me.
