This is my first purchase from here! I’ve been wanting (and needing) something like this for a long time but I wasn’t willing to pay the $100 for it. I just stumbled onto a random bow hunting forum a month or so ago that mentioned camofire and I checked it out. Holy crap! Where have you been all of my life!? It’s kind of sad 🙁
Welcome to the madness…seriously.
Is it bad that when I saw this pack pop up I just started laughing maniacally and digging for my credit card? I may be in trouble. Unless SHE doesn’t find out. That’s it. No one has to know anything. It’ll be our little secret 😐
I purchased the first Timber Hawk Gut Hook back in May and have used it numerous times since I received and it is great! Very well designed with great features and plenty of storage with easy access. I am purchasing a second one for my son as we are going to Colorado this fall and it will be a great addition as a day pack during our hunt. It works great for our daily hikes and scoouting trips and I am looking forward to this fall using it for deer hunting to store and carry everything. Thanks
so how do you buy an item on this website?
Hit the “Pull the trigger” button after selecting your model and quantity. On the next page, it’ll have some review info for you. Hit the “continue to checkout” button at the bottom right of that page. That page will have information for you payment, login, contact info, and shipping. From there, just submit your order and you’ll get an email with your invoice number and everything. I hope that helps!
WooHoo I’ve just been waiting for this item to come up and am thrilled to finally get one. I borrowed a buddies gut hook last year during the bow hunt and couldn’t wait to get my own!
Do you anticipate any killshot packs coming up this month?
Nick and Rick – thanks for the feedback and helps there.
Matt – yes, Killshot later this month, around the 18th or so.
With all this talk of how awesome the Gut Hook is I may need to break down and use one myself. I mean, I know it’s a great pack, but I’ve not really embraced the concept of a fanny pack with straps but the idea of a back free of sweat is sounding so good.
What does it weigh?
Straight up 3 pounds is what it weighs.
Hey kendall,
Are we going to be seeing any more badlands packs? I could really use one this year. Or maybe even one of the sitka packs in optifade????hmmmm……
Hey Kendall
I was wondering if you will have the Gut Hook back up sometime soon? What about the Rut Buster?
Eric – Badlands was bought by Zebco (yea, the fishing company) and since then the deals on their packs have dried up. We keep working on them but it’s a whole new ball game with them.
Kaleb – We won’t have the Gut Hook up in the near future since it ran last week so if you’d like one give us a call. Rut Buster coming up late this month.
Zebco…..seriously???? hopefully their packs won’t turn into cheap turds.
