What is the maximum yardage on the Nikon?
Archers Choice is 100 yards if I’m not mistaken
50% off 400.95???
209.75 on optics planet.
260 most other places.
It’s still cheaper then everyone else so be happy about it or dont buy it.
Thank camofire!!
Sean – when we list the retail price it’s the price that Nikon (or any other manufacturer) has as their retail. That way we have a standard to reference. Which leads me to our second premise – we strive to always be the best price on the web that day on that product.
Optics Planet which you cited also lists the retail as $400.95 with a “Save 48%” Did you happen to send them an email also questioning them?
We could spend our entire day searching the web and running algorithms which will consider the tens if not hundreds of retailers that list a particular item and then run averages to determine the going price if it differs from the suggested retailer price, or we can spend our day searching for deals and serving them up. We choose the latter, and hope it makes sense to those who check the site.
Thanks for your comment. I hope this helps you to see why we do the things we do.
Did I miss the parkas, or are they still coming up? I thought I was watching pretty closely for them, but I guess it’s possible they sold out before I got to them…
Thanks!
Terry – they sold out super fast. There were a small run of them.
No worries. Thanks for the reply.
FYI – we may have more of them the second week of Jan. XL is sold out, but we’ll get more of the other sizes. Hope that helps
Its not that I don’t like camofire or the way you do business, you can check my purchase history to back that up, but you have in the past had items posted at a certain price and have made adjustments to lower the price where it made more sense to purchase. If that has changed , then sorry my bad. I am an intelligent consumer and i know when a deal isn’t a deal.
Thanks for the dialog. And nevermind the thumbs down. It’s just loyal customers like you voicing their opinions. I certainly hope you don’t feel like I questioned your loyalty to Camofire. I truly appreciate the amount of orders you’ve placed and never want a customer/friend of ours to feel like we don’t value them, their orders or perhaps more importantly their opinions because that’s what will help this little biz grow and get talked about. Have a Happy New year and thanks!
Hi Kendall,
I sent an email but have not heard back so it may have gotten lost in cyberspace. How does shipping work for us Canadians? Can we choose USPS over UPS (lower brokerage fees)? Love the site and would like to start buying some stuff. Thanks and have a great New Year.
Jamie,
I am Canadian(couldn’t help it, Juniors are on) and all of the stuff I have bought has been USPS or I would not buy because of the extra fees by UPS.
Not sure, unless there is an express option by UPS but your order should come USPS. You can check by setting up the order, just don’t “place order” and it will show a list of shipping options and it is laid out really well where all the costs are going. IE tax, duty, shipping. Hope this helps.
Hi Chris,
Thanks for the info, that is greatly appreciated.
