Is this pack water resistant or w/ proof ?
More water resistent than waterproof. This is the ideal pack for treestand hunting. Check out AT for some good reviews.
Shane,
AT?
AT is Achery Talk .com forums
This is so tempting. I have a J34 pack and am very happy with it, but a smaller pack would be nice and the dozens of pockets would be nice.
The pictures don’t show the butt bucket, I’m assuming it is included but just not showing in the pictures?
Here’s a link to a good write up on it – http://www.archerytalk.com/vb/showthread.php?t=1297531&page=1
Hey Kendall I’m in desperate need of some arrows carbon express 350’s in a maxima hunter or 3d select any chance u have some comin soon b4 October 10 maybe
Any chance of getting an Eberlestock Gunrunner in? I have an X1A that I love, but I’d like something lighter for quick day trips where I don’t need the capacity of the X1A.
Kendall,
Thanks for putting up the Halftrack pack last week, these guys make very practical packs that are for the hunter. Already have a nice blood stain on mine (not my own blood). Keep up the good work.
Are you guys going to be selling any Sitka gear between now & Christmas? Also any stocking stuffer gadgets in the near future? 🙂
Kendall,
Any chance you have the Badlands Front Rack bag or Back Rack bag available? Thanks!
Michael – we do have the Badlands Front Rack bag coming up, but if you need it sooner, give us a call.
I was wondering if you had any tailhook packs left? Been looking for a long time and this is by far the best deal I have seen. Thanks
Adam – we have more. Give us a call.
Kendall,
Guessing I know the answer, but I have always been told it never hurts to ask…. So, do you have any more Tailhooks available at this price?
Awesome pack. Carried one for nine solid days in the St Joe National Forest chasing elk and loaded with about 20 pounds. The pack rides well on foot and on horseback, really a well thought out design. I did not use the ability to carry a rifle, but expect it to work as well as the rest of the pack. The rifle carrier is also removeable if not needed. We had rain 7 out of 9 days, it’s a water resistant pack pack, not waterproof, but does keep most of the heavy rain out. Pockets are numerous as described, no issues seperating and organizing all of the items I carried. The side pockets will carry an R3 water bottle upright. I’ll be trying it in the treestand next and it will probably replace my day pack. Dispite a few hard falls, one handed carrys, and slinging it around the camp site, no rips or tears of the webbing or outer layers. Used it hard, and it held up beyond expectations. Thanks, CAMOFIRE!!!!
I lamented about my current pack all last week on a warm Wyoming mule deer hunt. It’s well-built and useful, but heavy. I’ve been wanting one of these Eberlestock packs for a long time. A buddy told me about camofire during the hunt. I’ve already made 2 purchases! If this keeps up, you’ll need to start selling 4 season tents or roses……… keep up the good work men!
Mike – welcome to the site. Glad you found us. Roses…now there’s an idea. I’m sure a lot of guys could iron out some wrinkles with their wives if some roses showed up with a Camofire.com logo on the box!
