Combined with Vanguard's lightweight compact PH-111V 2 way pan head it's ideal for running spotting scopes, binoculars and cameras off of. At only 14oz it is exceptionally lightweight for a fluid pan head. Dual locking knobs adjust the tension on both the pan and tilt movements so you can set just the right amount of tension for whatever you have on it. The PH-111V also features a lock in place quick release plate so that even if the lever gets hit the quick release plate will not fall off the head.
