BANDED SQUAW CREEK INSULATED BIBS

I left a 70 degree Memphis, TN headed to Squaw Creek, MO. Four hours later it was spitting snow. I made it to camp, but awoke the next morning to single-digit temps, a howling north wind and a blizzard. I've been cold, but this just hurt, and my gear wasn't up to laying prone in a layout blind. Sometimes you can identify where the cold is invading, but now it assaulted me from every direction. The bright side? Waves of mallards and geese were leaving the refuge to feast in the corn, and we were where they wanted to be.
