Max 1 in everything else, except Merino for now. First Lite is the only company I know of maxing Max 1 in merino. Higher priced than the Core4 but they are good guys at First Lite and they make a great product worthy of your hard earned $.

What kind of temperatures do you wear the C4E merino tops and bottoms in? I got them a month or two ago and am wondering what you’d recommend.

Aaron – I’d be very interested in hearing what other guys are doing. I haven’t worn mine in warm temps yet. I usually wait for cooler temps (30′s-low 60′s). Daytime highs right now are upper 60′s low 70′s in the mountains where I hunt. I’ve worn them down as low as zero as my first base layer. If you’re active at that temp, they are like little ovens. MUCH more so than polyester base layers.

I wore mine on a 90 degree day hiking six miles and it was awesome. It was actually cooler than my under armour heat gear and it felt really nice with only a slight breeze.

actually that Wildgame innovations rangefinder is as good as what you are referencing IMHO. I own one of these and they are great. They work spectacularly and give you the angle verification each time if you want it to. you can also set it to not do the angle stuff….

Can you tell me how the Pivot fits compared to the Assault? I’m looking to take advantage of that Sunday offer once I see it. I also just ordered the Merino’s as well, but am assuming that they fit a bit more snug than the Assault, due to the material. My issue is that I’m borderline between 2 sizes (L & XL) on shirts… Again, the site is awesome!
