How good are these vanguards compared to vortex or other bino’s on the market?

Jordan – I seem to recall we had a guy chime in after these ran before that he was super impressed with them. This particular model from Vanguard runs comparable to the Viper line up from Vortex in quality, at least that’s what I thought after looking through them.

So I guess I dont understand how this works when it says 11 hours left and then changes to another item? I was just getting the info I needed to pull the trigger on the binos and then it changed will they be up again later?

Tyler – indeed the timer did say 11 hours but the other thing to watch is the inventory/status bars that will slowly (or sometimes quickly) move from full to “Sold Out”. If all the items sell out, regardless of the timer, the site moves to the next item in the lineup. Does that help to answer your question?

Thanks for the feedback Tyler. I think we’re on the hunt for binos at the moment. The Vortex 10×32 we have a few left and some 8×32 SDT Vanguard as well as the Zeiss Victory FL 10×42 but even at our price it’s an investment. Hopefully we’ll round up some asap.
Brad – Sitka gear is slim pickings these days. Traverse Gloves in the line up for Friday.

Kendall, I want a pair of the Rocky Arhcery boots, but the description states that the folks with wider feet should buy the “W” size, but in the drop down I have yet to see the “W” listed. It his because wides sizes are not available? Help, Thanks

Dave – yea, the Wide have sold out and if you’ve got wide feet, don’t bother cause you’ll be sending them back for sure. Watch in the coming days as we put up a couple of other models from Rocky as they may strike your fancy. The one to watch for that is most like the broadhead but with rip stop fabric and more support is the Silent Hunter boots. They will be around the same price and are in my opinion awesome. I love the broadhead too as it’s wicked light and like wearing slippers for a stalk, but the Silent Hunter will be a little tougher (a bit heavier too) for more trail and rugged terrain use.

Kendall how does the Vanguard spotting scope compare to other models?

Jason – for the price they are good, but there are better scopes out there with glass that’s just a bit clearer and crisper. It also depends on the models as the Signature line up is pretty solid and others are so-so. If you’re a scope guy you’ll gravitate immediately to the high end but if you’re not a spotting scope guy but want to have one around, for the $ I think the Vanguard is a good bet.
