The Vanguard Signature Series 78 & 79 20-60×80 Spotting Scope Kits are a solid quality scope with accessories that will make getting started this scouting season a piece of cake. The Signature 78 and 79 offer a large 80 mm objective and a 20-60x eyepiece for bright and clear high-magnification scoping, perfect for long range spotting for elk or sheep on those far away ridges.
Because it’s waterproof and fogproof you won’t get slowed down if the elements are working against you. The kit includes a very nice hard case with cut out foam so that the scope, tabletop tripod and other accessories will be intact and secure as you travel. The tripod comes with a pan/tilt head for great flexibility in any mounting situation. As far as technical features go, the Signature Series are configured with a BAK4 porro prism and multicoated lenses that won’t let you down.
The scope’s housing is built from a durable aluminum alloy to last through many hunting seasons. But when it comes to scouting the SLR digiscope attachment will help you capture the best images without blur. Lastly, the large ergonomically designed focusing wheel allows for easy adjustment, keeping you focused on that Boone and Crockett buck.
