This is false advertising and not once but twice. The model advertised for sale here is the Alta Pro 253CT, however, the model being shipped (or at least, shipped to me) is the Alta+ 253CT. This may not matter to some as it appears to still be an okay deal but there is one very big difference between these models: The Alta Pro model offers a ‘Multi-Angle Center Column’ and the Alta+ model does not have this feature. The MACC is my whole reasoning for ordering this product and I am very disappointed to have received a product that does not meet my needs. I called and left a message on CamoFire’s voicemail requesting a call back. I would very much like to receive the model you are advertising in place of the one that was shipped to me.
I do want to point out that the shipping was incredibly fast and far exceeded my expectations in that aspect.

Beau – I’m sorry for my mistake. When building this product in our system it was originally created as the Alta + but when referencing some things on the Vanguard website I somehow got thinking it was actually the Pro and made that change in the title without re-checking the original order we received. I just checked on the shelf to confirm my error which you’ve pointed out and yes, indeed it is my mistake. I sincerely wasn’t trying to deceive anyone, yourself included. We don’t have the PRO in stock so on Monday Greg will return your call and we’ll cover the shipping to have the tripod sent back to us.
For anyone whose order has not shipped, if you care to cancel there will be no problem to do so. If you’ve receive your order and are upset by my error, again we will cover the shipping to have it returned for a refund.

I was hoping that I was just mis-shipped the ‘+’ instead of the PRO. That way I could just get the correct one from you. As it is, I’m quite bummed because I had already planned a shoot around the abilities of the PRO and am now unable to proceed.
I could order the PRO but it is 60% more money than the ‘+’ that I do not have; and why I jumped on the deal you had when I though the PRO was what I would get.
I got the call tag email yesterday and will send the ‘+’ back ASAP. How long after you get the ‘+’ back till I am credited back the billed amount, as I have to find a new tripod option for my shoot (that is now on hold)?
