Nikon Monarch in …. 3-9x40mm!? Whaaaaaaat? I’ve only seen 42, 44, and 50mm objectives. Also, 2-8x, 2.5-10x, and 3-12x powers are the closest things I’ve seen to 3-9x. I’m hate to throw CamoFire under the bus but are these really Monarchs in the Rapid Fire set today or are they something else? The only 3-9x40mm rifle scopes from Nikon I’ve ever seen were the ProStaff, Buckmaster, and Coyotes.

I love the ProStaff. Very good scope. You don’t really need anything more than that. However … If you can get 95% light transmission and other features for the same price, why not pull the trigger. Me thinks I’ll be wearing out my refresh button around noon! Thanks, Kendall!
