Who has pulled the trigger on these Rocky shoes. I am on the feence on this one. I have a great pair of hunting boots that are broke in. Why would I need to pull the trigger on these?

Actually ordered a pair of Rocky Silent Stalkers a while back an earlier run and wore them out for the first time this past weekend. I loaded up the kiddo in the pack and went out for about a 1-2 mile hike.
Pretty impressed as a first overall opinion. They were light as could be and held up to anything I walked on just fine.
I do wish the laces were a little bit heavier duty, but that’s an easy fix. I just like to lace mine up tighter and I really pull on the laces. I didn’t purposely step into any small cactus or anything but sagebrush, weeds; etc all didn’t seem to be a problem. Good grip on rocks and stuff as well. Also they provided enough support in the ball of my foot that my surgically repaired toe didn’t feel one bit worse for wear. Though I didn’t let the rattlesnakes I encountered test his bite on them, I’d say a definite plus for these boots.

Just to add on to my comment before. These boots are definatley for early seaon for warmer weather. I don’t think they’d be great in late season or cold, cold weather. Basically lightweight boot/shoe that feels comfortable and you barely notice is on your feet while you try to sneak in on that animal in dry, loud surroundings. Definately will be wearing my pair on opening day archery season tomorrow.
