Eric I picked one up last time it was up on here and I have taken it out scouting/ pre getting for the hunt and i thought it performed very well… but this is the 1st hunting pack i have ever bought! I think for the type of hunting i will most likely be doing I could have went with a smaller pack! and I need an external frame pack…. at least i hope i am going to need one

Eric – I bought one for an Idaho elk hunt this Fall, have been carrying it around on the weekends with about 25-30 pounds in the preseason mode. Good quality, solid build, and access to the main bag from many accesses. I liked the built in bow holder, rifle holder and rain fly. The orange pull out panel is the only piece I thought was a bit weak, but I haven’t used it yet. The shoulder straps are narrow design with good padding and the pack rides more on the waist belt than the shoulder straps. For the Camofire price, can’t beat the value.
