I bought the Killshot pack a few weeks ago when it was on. If anyone is in doubt, as I was before ordering, believe me, these are well-made packs and you will be impressed with the quality and the overall design. These packs were made for hunting! The material is tough and pretty quiet, and seems like it would be quite water-resistant, all stitching is strong, and the buckles all seem tough too. The gps pockets are handy too, maybe a bit small, some larger garmin gps’s wouldn’t fit.
I’m always hesitant to buy anything I haven’t examined in person, but my doubts about my Timber Hawk pack disappeared as soon as I got my hands on it. These are high quality packs.

Have you shot archery with this pack on? I am wondering if the pack allows sufficient space to allow me to comfortably come to full draw with the draw side shoulder blade sliding in toward the spine. Is the back well ventilated with this pack?
I really like the looks of the Sitka Ascent pack for this purpose. Any chance of those rolling through before next August?

Anybody have any thoughts on this pack? I just bought a cheap one from Dick’s Sporting Goods (Field and Stream brand I think) and it is just fine. Zippers are a bit cheap, but it works ok for stand hunting. Anyone have any insights on this Timber Hawk? Looks like a beauty in the pictures.

I missed buying this because I was trying to find out if the larger pack was going to be offered again instead. Anyways, not sure how it works but since these didn’t sell out, are they still available for purchase or are you going to have the either this or the Killshot come back up for sale again? Definitely interested in a rugged hunting day pack like these.
