Description:
Like the mighty Wind River range in Wyoming, the Wind River fleece pant from Team Realtree is built strong and impenetrable. Utilizing Goretex Windstopper laminated between two layers of quiet, soft wind resistant fleece, the Wind River will keep you warm and free from the biting wind no matter how hard it blows. The fit is relaxed and comfortable for long hours in a treestand, ground blind or simply on the move in colder temps. Complete with belt loops, zip closure hand pockets, a zip closure seat pocket as well as 18″ lower leg side zippers to take these on and off with boots on, the Wind River fleece pant is one of a kind for nearly every hunting situation.

It occurred to me yesterday, sitting 30 feet in the air, waiting on one last doe in late Spring Management season in Virginia, that the Camofire site has been pretty good to me. The rain has been coming down steady, at one point hard enough to renew interest in wooden ark construction, and the defining of the exact size of a “cubit”. I’m dry, warm, and the only one dumb enough to be out in this weather. It’s a going to be good day…
I’m wearing waterproof Scent Blocker Brotherhood Boots, the Team Real Tree Gore-Tex Big Game bib pants, the packable Team Real Tree Gore-Tex Rubline jacket with hood, and merino wool socks are keeping the toes warm. Yeah, it’s a Camofire kinda day, and after two hours of downpour, I’m still dry, warm, and focused on the hunt. Thanks Kendall, and the rest of the team at Camofire for passing on the deals!

In a purely envious way, yet totally in agreement with your comments, a modest, yet distinct ‘up yours’ can be heard from the gallery. We don’t get ‘Spring Management seasons’ in Oregon, the earliest we see is August. Weather sounds about the same though.

True…I grew up in Idaho and know the pain of one-per-season and very limited days. On the other hand, the deer here are like the jackrabbit population in southern Idaho and just as fertile…and about the same size…gallery comments humbly noted!

So the big fella pants seem to be stalled out. What is the next item? Any chance you will have some paclite shells any time soon?

Greg – that post is one of the best ever. Almost brought a tear to my eyes. That right there brother is the motivation behind the long hours and risking a happy marriage, sanity and financial ruin to get this biz of the ground and making it happen. When I hear stuff like that, it makes me and the rest of the crew stoked to know in a small very small sorta way we were out hunting with you yesterday. Thanks!
Derik – no doubt, where’d all the duck hunting big fellas go? Snow camo coverup jacket next, then some short sleeve T’s and some late season bibs. It’s a realtree sorta day.

Man, I want one of those snow covers. I’m pretty sure I’d look like Chris Farley in that jacket (You need to see Tommy Boy if you are confused), but with the amount I’ve been spending on Camofire, I guess it’s a good thing there aren’t any big sizes.

I know huh? Bummer that they sold out last time. This is the last of the snow camo for a while.
