Brad – The reason the 18″ machete isn’t allowed for combined is because if it’s added to other items that are big (like a backpack for example) then the chances that the package will get bumped into the “Super Size” with USPS and UPS is very good, resulting in it either getting sent back to us or a large increase in the pricing. There are only a few items that don’t get combined shipping love, and that’s one. Sorry man.
