This isn’t a deal at all. You can get it at the real tree website for $36. Checked shipping for both sites and the real tree website to me is only .81 more than camofire.
Looks like a nice product but if I buy, it will be from the real tree website.

Brandon – I’m not seeing that price of $36 for the same vest. Do you have the link for that? I see a different vest for $44 on the http://www.diablooutdoors.com website. Seriously though, if it’s on sale for $36 somewhere else, I’ll adjust the price now to make it a better deal for everyone else. I don’t mind eating some profit to pass on a better deal that is flat out the best on the web (even though it is the best on the web now…) Please share that if you’ve got it

It’s late enough in the day and enough guys have bought the vest at what I still think is a good deal that I think changing the price won’t be fair to them today. But down the road when we do list Realtree products, I’ll be sure to check that site and really evaluate the price we offer to make it compelling for you and still able to keep us in business. This is juvenile. Go back to approving the posts. Bye the way, I would have liked to have seen you lower the price and refund the difference to the guys that paid more. This may have been more work on your part but would build more confidence and loyalty with your customers than future promises do.

I knew what the price was when I ordered mine and I’m happy with it. I would not expect the price ajusted afterward because of what it might be in the future. What if Kendall’s cost on them goes up? Should he send eveybody a bill for the diference?

Brett, your hypothetical question is misguided and really makes no sense in relation to this conversation. Kendall’s cost is not going up on gear already sitting in his warehouse. I’m sure he negotiates a fixed price before he lists an item and if there is a structured deal he has with a mfr, his cost will go down with the quantity he sells. If you took the time to read the chain of posts you’d see Kendall suggested lowering the price a couple of dollars shortly after listing and then reneged later in the day. My earlier suggestion was simply a recommendation to Kendall on a more customer friendly way to diffuse a situation he created. Brett my friend, your Camofire loyalty is stronger than your buisness sense.

We only edit posts if and only if someone slanders another or is vulgar. I didn’t delete anything. As for the price change – sure, I can see your point from my offer to lower the price even more when I found out that this same vest was at a low price near ours and then that I cited more work to go back and refund the $1-2 I offered. The fact still remained that we had the best price on the web and I’d like to think the best service. I do appreciate the constructive criticism, it keeps us working harder to be the best price and service on the web!
