COMBINED SHIPPING You asked for it, we listened. Combined shipping is here.
We are very happy to announce that you will now have the opportunity to select a shipping option called “Combined Shipping” which will allow you to purchase multiple orders and combine them for up to 7 days. In a nutshell this is how it will work:
- You’ll need to login in order to get started. IF you don’t have an account, you can now go to the “MY ACCOUNT” page and create one. IF you’ve lost or forgotten your password, the “MY ACCOUNT” page will help you remember or reset your password.
- Select “Combined Shipping” on any order for the process to start. We’ll hold that order rather than ship it out within 24 hours as we tpyically do.
- After paying the regular shipping on that first order, all subsequent itmes (not orders, items) that you order within the next 7 days will only cost you $.99 shipping per item.
- After 7 days we’ll bundle all your items together and ship it out in one package.
- This will save you $ on shipping, save Brown from coming to your house every day and likely save your marriage so your spouse doesn’t see that you’re pulling the trigger every day!

Suggested Retail Price: $349.00
Camofire Price: $144.80 – 58% OFF
Description:
Do you demand the best technology and function in a hunting jacket? If you don’t, well…you may not want to read on. But if you do then the Team Realtree Big Game Jacket made with GORE-TEX soft shell and a hit of fleece as a liner insulator is the one for you. Made using exclusive GORE-TEX patented soft shell technology that is totally waterproof and seamed sealed this jacket will impress from the moment you put it on.
Unlike others on the market that claim to be waterproof and do not tape their seams, the Big Game has a proprietary and patented method to seam seal the fleece inside to prevent leakage. We know what it takes to impress hunters and sportsman alike and this jacket is one of the finest we have ever set eyes upon. The jacket gets softer with each washing and thus is extremely durable and quiet.
The Big Game GORE-TEX hunting jacket features a comfortable fit with a slightly longer back with a roll-up GORE-TEX Paclite hood that stows into the collar. Vertical chest pockets, waterproof zippers and waterproof storage pockets round out the features. Step up to the big leagues with the Big Game Jacket and stay dry, warm and quiet on your hunts this for years to come.

How warm is this jacket? Would it work well for late season still and stand hunting in 15 – 30 degree weather? Would I be better off holding out for a Sitka Celsius jacket or something like that?

Kendall,
How does this jacket compare to the Realtree Rubline coat and pant? Will you be listing the Rubline coat and pants again?

kendall, i too am curious as to the warmth of the big game series, are they the ticket for stand sitting in that 5-30 windy nebraska weather, or are they more of an athletic style as i see some are comparing them to the celsius stuff? thanks for the deals.

kendall, i should have read back a little more, as i believe brad did a review on them that appears to have answered my questions done back in oct. steve-search back under the products of team realtree and look at the reveiw under the big game seris done by brad, it should answer your question about stand sitting.

John R: I have the Rubline coat…..I don’t have this Big Game jacket, but I have tried it on. The rubline series is more of a rain jacket made out of Paclite (it stuffs down to about the size of a softball so you can throw it in your pack). I really like the Rubline jacket for a piece of Rain gear….but you’d have to have something warm underneath it for insulation in cold weather. I would compare this Big game jacket to something in between a Sitka 90% or Celsius jacket…
my 2 cents.

Corey – that’s a great assesment of where this jacket falls in line with something in between a 90% and Celsius…with one caveat – it’s made from Gortex Soft Shell which really places its performance a notch above those two jackets. For cold situations where you’ll be sitting a lot, you will need to layer under this jacket. I would go with a vest and a midweight or expedition weight fleece layer, over a merino Zip T of course. If it got wicked cold and I was treestand hunting, I’d put a down jacket/vest or a fleece jacket under it.

Hi Everyone, I just wanted to chime in on this Jacket. I bought it, along with the matching bibs, here on Camofire about a month ago. I used them up in Idaho over Thanksgiving weekend for a bow hunting trip. This was right after a big storm, so there was snow everywhere. I layered with a good base layer, Sitka Traverse shirt, and a vest. I eventually had to take the vest off, as I was roasting. So, as long as you layer a little this combo is awesome!!!! One side note, on the bibs, you can take the “bib” part off if you prefer not to use them. They just zip off, and you can then wear a belt.

I think I’m going to get this set, but I’m not sure about the sizing.
I’m 6’2″ and 220 lbs with a 38 inch waist and about a 33 inch inseam. Some of my hunting jackets are XL and some are XXL. Likewise, some of my hunting pants and bibs are L and some are XL.
Looking at the sizing chart, I think I should probably go XL on the jacket and XL on the bibs. Does that sound right?

I bought one in XL while I was deployed, I’ve used it several times since my return. Highly recommend this set. It is a great wind block and a well fitted jacket. It’s an athelitic fit, especially in the arms. It is NOT a warm jacket, IMO, and will need a good base layer underneath for treestands. I used it Saturday in 28 degrees and 10-15 MPH winds in a treestand, and needed more underneath than I had on. If I was moving, it would be fine with a light layer, much like Corey. Steve, if you have large arms, the sleeves may be a tight fit for you unless you go 2XL. I have about measurements as you do and like the close fit of the XL for me. I’m waiting for a Celius jacket in MM in an XL for a complete set.

Kendall and Corey,
Thanks for the info. I’m looking for something light weight to throw in a pack during early season hunts. I think the Rubline is what I’m looking for. So Kendall is there any chance some Rubline jackets and pants will be offered (XL coat and prob. L pant)?

I just gotta say, I absolutely LOVE my SOG TWITCH II. So much, I’m considering getting another as a backup. The thing is razor sharp and I used it to debone some chicken when my kitchen knife wasnt (ahem) cutting it. It did the job far better than I had expected.
Trying… to… resist… temptation…

Kendall, Will there be any more Medium Mothwing boxers? I would love to pick up a few more pairs, but they haven’t been available the last 2 times these boxers were offered.

I second the Medium Mothwing Boxer question. I have a couple pair of the Large and they are just a bit too big, they still work but would like a couple pair that fit a little better.

Just got my Realtree big game outfit. It is a little smaller than I would like and wondered if you had any 3x in both the coat and bibs?

Randy – we have the 3X coat but only 2X bibs. Drop us an email if you’d like to do a swap on the coat.
We’re talking with Mothwing about seeing if they have more in their warehouse (they are getting out of the clothing biz – just patterns from here on out) and we know that the Core 4 Element guys are making one patterned after the Mothwing after we told them we were running out of them.
On the Mothwing Boxers, no more Mediums

So Kendall, did you ever get to looking into having some Mothwing Mtn Mimicry clothing made up (I recall talk of a balaclava during the last Sitka weekend)?
