Description:
Do you demand the best technology and function in a hunting jacket? Then the Team Realtree Big Game Jacket made with lightly insulated GORE-TEX soft shell is the one for you. Made using exclusive GORE-TEX patented soft shell technology that is totally waterproof and seamed sealed this jacket will impress from the moment you put it on.
Unlike others on the market that claim to be waterproof and do not tape their seams, the Big Game has a proprietary and patented method to seam seal the fleece inside to prevent leakage. We know what it takes to impress hunters and sportsman alike and this jacket is one of the finest we have ever set eyes upon. The jacket gets softer with each washing and thus is extremely durable and quiet.
The Big Game GORE-TEX hunting jacket features an athletic design and a roll-up GORE-TEX Paclite hood that stows into the collar. Vertical chest pockets, waterproof zippers and waterproof storage pockets round out the features.
Step up to the big leagues with the Big Game Jacket and stay dry, warm and quiet on your hunts this fall and for years to come.

Ok guys, I have to say something about this jacket. When we first saw this jacket in the office a week ago, more than one of us said “this jacket is as good if not better than anything we’ve seen from Sitka” and I have to say I agree. I’ve winter climbed mountains like the Grand Teton and Mount Rainier and this jacket would easily be one I’d take with me there or on any hunt. Even though Realtree AP isn’t my preferred pattern, I’m SERIOUSLY contemplating making this jacket my go to for stormy and cold weather.

hey kendall,
Are you guys going to possibly have the bibs to go with them as well?

Brian – yes, we have the bibs and will be offering them in the next few days. If you do pick up the jacket and want the bibs as well, give us a call or drop us an e-mail on the contact us page.

hello,
was wondering if anyone had any advise on the sizing of this jacket. Like usual I’m right in the middle of either needing a large or XL. 6’3 190lbs and plan on wearin bibs underneath this jacket sometimes. thanks in advance

hey Kendall,
Is the Hood removable on this jacket?

Corey – it’s not removable (I’ll go out into the warehouse to double check) but is built from Goretex Paclite which is a thinner version of Gore-tex. That way it will stow away in the collar and not be huge.

Kendall,
How would you compare this jacket to the Sitka 90% jacket?

Scott – good question. Not apples to apples, but if I could only own and hunt with either the Sitka 90% jacket or the Big Game Jacket I think (do I dare say this?) I’d choose the Big Game. Here’s why – it’s completely waterproof, windproof and it still has the stretch elements of the pure softshell 90% jacket.

Hey Kendall,
I’m in the same boat as Justin from the above post. Any advice on whether to go L or XL?

Tyler and Justin – So our friend Dave was just here at the warehouse and he’s 6’2, 190. He tried on the Large and said it fit well, a little snug in the arms for his liking but it fit well. However, I had him try on a fleece jacket, not too thick, but when he did the Large was a bit too snug. The XL fit much better. Then again, with nothing under the XL jacket he felt it was too roomy. I would suggest the XL for you if you plan on putting layers under it like a fleece for warmth. The bibs aren’t going to add too much bulk in my opinion. Finally, remember that if you do get something that doesn’t fit, you can send it back to exchange and we’ll cover the shipping to get the new size back to you.

hey guys, i own some tean realtree camo gear and have found it to be some pretty good stuff. if i didn’t already have a sitka celsius jacket, i would be pulling the trigger on this jacket. it appears to be very close to the celsius jacket with the fit and pocket locations, so all u guys wanting a celsius in xl, that u will never find, here’s ur chance to get a really good piece of gear. i still may pull the trigger on one myself.
