I ordered a set of Sitka 90% Jacket and Pants last summer from CamoFire and they were too small for me, even though I followed the sizing chart. I wanted to exchange them for a larger size, but they were sold out. Kendall recommended the Big Game set for me and I couldn’t be happier. The fabric isn’t as quiet as the Sitka 90%, but it suits me very well. The cut of the jacket and pants offers good mobility, but not quite as good as the 90% set. FYI, I do mostly treestand hunting, but I wore the bibs (basically pants with suspenders) and jacket for an elk hunt in the North Dakota Badlands last year and they served me very well. We hiked about 7 miles a day which included some serious ups and downs and even belly crawling during stalks.

Can anyone tell we the amount of fleece lining in this jacket. I’m looking for somthing comparable to the Sitka Stratus Jacket (as far as warmth). Is this comparable????

I don’t have any experience with the Stratus Jacket, but the Big Game fleece lining is pretty thin. It is great for wearing over a medium weight base layer, but you may want to go with a larger size if you plan on wearing thicker base layers.

I bought this jacket and bibs last year and hunted in WI with them in October and November. The fleece lining is thin. The jacket and bibs alone with only a light base layer with probably keep you warm down to 50 degrees. I sized up and used multiple insulating layers under them them to stay comfortable down to 10 degrees. Excellent quality and quiet material.

Any chance we will be seeing any blaze orange clothing in the next couple of weeks? Gun season for deer is opening the first weekend in November and it would be nice to get some new gear for that.
