Hey Kendall,
Just curious if you have any of the badlands bino cases/bino kits coming up? Or if you have any left from awhile ago? lol..I know, long shot, but had to ask.

David – bino cases are long gone. A word to everyone out there on the Badlands Bino Cases – if you find one no matter if it’s full retail ($70 I believe) buy it! The reason is two fold:
1. Badlands won’t have them in stock for another 2-3 months.
2. The price is going up to $129, cited because the magnetic prices have gone up 400%.

Kendall – Thanks for the info! Found one on Amazon for $61 and snatched it up immediately after reading your post! Will definitely be watching the site for some new binos to fill it up with!

Kendall – thanks for the info, talked to someone else and he verified your posting about the bino case price increase. By the way do you know when the Badlands OX will be on sale and for how much?
David just ordered mine for $61.75 at amazon, thanks for the heads up.
P.S. Do you know if this case will fit the Steiner Military 10X50 binos?

It’ll be a close fit on the Steiner 10×50. I have the Vortex Viper 10×50 and it’s a tight fit.
Ox – doing an inventory check after the SLC Western Hunt Expo and then we’ll get it on the site. Should be around $290 or so….I think

Kendall, I am in a place that dose not have a badlands dealer in the area. What is your take on the OX and 4500, what do you consider the pros and cons of each pack. I have done the basic internet research but am still torn between the two.
Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions.

Just a word on this camera – I have used it for 2 years since it was brand new on the market. Sure there are smaller ones out now, but this has been a very solid performing camera for me. I’ve never had to swap out batteries each year as I put it out in June and run it through late Sept with temps down to the teens. It’s taken around 1500 images each summer – solid both day and night. It’s one of 5 cameras I own and just as reliable as the SpyPoint IR5 and IR8 that I use. It measures 8.5″ tall, 7″ across and 3″ thick and without batteries (6 c size) is around a pound and a half (estimating in my hand).
Just wanted to throw that out there in case anyone hasn’t seen this model or used it.

Just curious how the length on of the Core4Element 1/4 zip compares to the Crew Top? i just sent the merino crew top back because it was rather short in the body for me and i am hoping to get a merino 1/4 zip today. Are they cut any longer than the merino crew? Maybe like the Assault shirt which fits me perfectly?

I just recently got the 1/4 zip merino in black, and I thought it was rather short in the body. It said it had extra length to help it stay tucked in, but it’s one of the shortest base layers I own.

I’m 6’4″ and felt that the 1/4 zip was a good length for me while hunting, trail running and backcountry skiing (all the times I’ve worn it) Just my 2 cents

That’s what I found with the crew top.

Just bought the merino zip top. Are there any C4E merino beanies left in MM I can add to my order? Long shot but I thought I’d ask.

Tim – It’s not that long of a shot, but ron is correct. You must not have seen it. I’ll add one to your order ( a new order for $14.40) and we’ll ship it out with the 1/4 zip. Thx.
