First Hunting Deal Today: SPYPOINT IR-8 COMPACT GAME CAMERA
Regular Retail Package Price: $299.99
Camofire Price: $180.25- 40% OFF Retail

Description:
SPYPOINT cameras combines quality pictures with the shortest IR LED flash time on the market. This little gem, the IR-8, takes all of their technology and packages it into a smaller 5″x7″ frame, giving you the ability to carry more cameras into the woods and spend less on batteries as the IR-8 runs on AA batteries. It is a very simple to use camera with a clear and easy to navigate menu, seen on the 2.4″ built in viewing screen. The lens quality provides top resolution so you’ll know exactly how many tines that 340 bull elk has. It’s motion detection lens has 5 detection zones up to 45′ away. These 5 zones help trigger the camera faster and increase the angle of detection so there are more game and less blank photos on your SD card. Going small never felt better than with the SpyPoint IR-8 game camera.

Hey Kendall,
What kind of feedback have you got on these and this brand? Are they pretty durable? I missed it again as the first deal comes up when I am in bed and it is always gone by the time I am up out here on the West Coast in Spokane.
Let me know if you have an idea on when you may be offering this again as I really want one. I missed it a few days ago as well, again, the first deal of the day.
Can you make it a middle of the day or end of day deal for me?
Thanks.
Also, great elk, awesome!!!

Hi Kendall great job. You had me going for a second when I saw the image of the SITKA TRAVERSE top in black on my phone. I rushed to the nearest computer only to find that you were not selling any in solid colors.
As a note for Greg. I am also in Spokane and in an effort not to miss a killer deal I try to check the website at 10 PM everynight before I go to bed. Good luck.

I have a couple of the Sitka “Mountain Shirts” from Camofire I bought last season. Is the Traverse comparable or is there something else that is closer to the “Mountain Shirt”?

Hot Carl – the Mountain Shirt is in a league of its own, at least in my opinion. It’s got stretch, more warmth and quite frankly a more solid fit than the Traverse. Don’t get me wrong, the traverse is nice, but it won’t hold a candle to the mountain shirt as a good outer layer shirt for those days when a jacket is too much but a light weight base layer won’t cut it. It’s my opinion and many others that by making the Traverse thinner and wimpier than the Mountain Shirt that Sitka missed the boat or at least a great opportunity. My $.02 is spent!

Any Timberhawk packs coming up? I didn’t pull the trigger on the Guthook pack last time it was up and have been kicking my butt ever since…
