Description:
Shooting a gun is a good time, until you’re saying “huh?” and “what?” all the time. With the Sport Ear X-Pro HD Ear Muffs you’ll not only protect your hearing thanks to it’s high decibel protection like a gunshot or your kids screaming but it’s HD quality receivers will have you carrying on a normal conversation at the gun range while your buddies with ear plugs are yelling at each other like it’s a rock concert. Seriously, you’ve never heard stereo like this – it’s like a Bose system on your head.
Even better is the amplification from 4 receivers (2 on each ear muff) that you’ll get when in the field as that big 5×5 whitetail approaches your treestand unaware that you heard him crack that leaf 100 yards away. Believe the hype, the Sport Ear X Pro are truly a sportsman’s best kept secret either at the gun range or in the woods. MADE IN THE USA.

Does anyone know if the pictured item is in fact what is being offered? Not sure if it’s an older model but if you go to the sport ear website the item on camofire that is pictured is actually the X Digital HD opposed to the X Pro HD. Refer to their website for clarification. However all the written info on here is for the X Pro HD. Just trying to see if they just put the wrong picture on here.
Thanks!
Kevin

Kevin – we had a couple of questions on this and even got called out by someone saying we are doing something “illegal”. So I’m including what I responded to that person: I received these images from the CEO of Sport Ear. I hadn’t realized the images on their site were different from the ones we have. I received these images from the CEO of Sport Ear after requesting high resolution images when we bought these muffs from him, as we were dealing with him personally on this item. Once we received the images from Sport Ear I then looked at the product we have in the warehouse and they match the images he sent over to us. I called the CEO after receiving your e-mail and the images they have on their website are with the old sport ear logo which they don’t use on their products any longer. He said the X-Pro HD and the X-Digital HD are the same image and that the only difference is the technology in the ear muffs.

Ok gents, after further talks with Sport Ear they actually told me that the X Pro HD on their site is the wrong image – if you look closely it only has one receiver which is actually the X Pro (which we’ll have coming up in a week or two) and the X Pro HD has two receivers on it. They once again told me that the X Pro HD and the X Digital HD are the same image and that the only thing different is the technology – the cosmetics are identical.

Tyson/Kevins – we are offering the X Pro HD. The image on the site is the same image as the X Digital HD as told us and given us by the folks at SPORT EAR. I see now the confusion that their site can show with this.

Kendall, how much better can you hear with these on? I can not find that much info on this product even from their own website. They look awesome but I want to know some more details. For example Walker’s Game Ear says that it can amplify your hearing up to 7 times…Is that the case with these? Could you tell me how many times better you can hear, if there is a warranty, if there is any static sound that people complain about (This is a common complaint for Walker’s Game Ear), and any other information not listed on the “Pull the Trigger” Page. Also if you would not mind sharing your thoughts on this product in relation to the other products in this genre. Your personal review would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!
Many Thanks,
Tyson

Jeremy – yes, this is the correct image, straight to us from the manufacturer. The “extra” image on the bottom of the home page is not the exact image as it’s only got 1 receiver on the ear muff and the XPro HD has 2 receivers on each ear. We put it in there to show the side angle

Kendall, I had an internet date recently that sent me a picture and then when she showed up she looked totally different, like 50 pounds different! Anything you can do to help me out?
Merry Christmas brother, keep the good stuff coming!

Hey Justin, if you buy the Burris Signature Select Semi Compact binoculars and look through them backwards your date just might look 50 pounds lighter.

Justin, just because she was 50lbs. lighter than you were hoping doesn’t mean you two couldn’t have still had a good time.

Kendall, you’re striking out, buddy! The Expeidition Hunters you have up right now show the image of the XT Hunter.

Again, they are identical. The only difference in the look is the name XT or Expedition. Buy some and you’ll see.

The difference is in the tolerance. The XT Hunters are guaranteed at a straightness tolerance of +-0.003 wheras the Expedition Hunters are +-0.006. Not exactly the same… Expeditions are essentially the rejected XTs, just as the XTs are the rejected Pro Hunters.

This I know, you were talking images and now you’re getting all technical on me. The description said the same thing you just wrote – .003 vs .006. Sit back, drink some egg nog and throw another elk steak on the barbie. Have a Merry Christmas Jeremy

haha, just giving you crap… but that elk steak sounds like a great idea. I’ll throw one on for you as well.
All of the expedition hunters I’ve seen have a brown wrapping, the XT Hunters in my case have a green wrapping… if you want to talk pictures.

Looking after your hearing has to be one of the most crucial matters you can do. Take it from me, somebody who sufferred listening damager early on. As a result, I in reality like looking after my hearing and whilst I do agree with the preceding poster and I really hope I do not get shot down for stating this, but I believe it is essential to take all things in moderation.
