Just wanted to say that I used the SOG Spec Elite Knife this weekend to skin and quarter the buck I got and man does this knife live up to the hype. I used it fresh out of the box and the edge was very sharp and held up well through the entire episode. I did the gutless method since I was 3 miles in with just my 10 year old boy. I’m so stoked to have this knife in my pack. Lightweight, great feel in the hand, no worries about it closing up on me and good for skinning or bit cuts. I’m sold on SOG.
