Silver Blade

Black Blade

Description:
Looking for that perfect fixed blade knife for big game and fish cleaning that won’t slip in your hand when wet and feels like it was built by hunters for hunters? Welcome to the Field Pup from SOG. It’s a beautiful knife with its high gloss satin finish, typically found only on very expensive knives. It’s the right size and weight, and you’ll know it the moment you grip it in your hand. It’s comfortable to use with its slightly yielding Kraton molded handle that form fits the full tang blade. SOG’s trademarked finger grips are combined with aggressive thumb notches on the back of the blade, making the Field Pup a real working knife. The blade is also protected by a very nice streamlined leather sheath. The Field Pup can be seen in the Prepared to Survive DVD that was produced by Lifeview Outdoors. Even though it’s a movie star of a knife, it’s right at home in a hunting pack or truck for any use the outdoors can serve up.

I can’t speak to the customer service, and I hope that your experience is not the norm. But I can say that my boots have held up very well so far, and most reviews I have found elsewhere are positive. They seem VERY well made.

Hey birdblue – while I appreciate your feedback, I think that despite a bad situation that the picture you paint is with a very broad brush assuming all their boots suck and that the US Distributor isn’t willing to do anything. I suspect you’re the same guy (birdboy) that posted on Archery Talk in the Western Hunting Forum. If that’s not you, my apologies for the erroneous assumption. Your distaste for Crispi certainly comes from a poor experience that you had with those boots that you received from Europe and then unfortunately sent them back to Italy after a hassle and now they are MIA. If you sent them to Italy, why hold the US Distributor culprit? He did you no wrong and he wasn’t involved in the shipping/warranty of the boots. We’ve easily sold over 200 pairs of Crispi boots and had 2 come back to us with something coming apart, one of which wasn’t in my estimation a manufacturing error. The US Distributor has been helpful in making right the couple of situations we’ve had.
Sounds like you got a true lemon, and surely sounds like Crispi messed up what was a poor situation already. I wish your experience had been better and even more that it was purchased from us as we would have most certainly gone to bat for you all day long. Best of luck with your next boot purchase. I’m going to pass this forum post along to our Crispi contact in hopes that he will take note, and perhaps help push from the USA side to Crispi Italy.
