Description:
Ever been to the brink while out hunting, thinking Mother Nature had it in for you and found yourself wishing your hunting gear delivered more? If so, your search stops here with the Celsius Bib from Sitka. Made with the philosophy that sends climbers to the summit of the worlds highest mountains, Sitka put things like stormproof zippers, seams that are taped vs. sewn, internal cuffs that increase heat retention, and pockets that you can use even with a pack on.
Lined with pile fleece that is super warm and traps air that adds to the warmth so you’ll be ready for that 5×6 Pope and Young Whitetail to come by your treestand while your buddy in the treestand a mile away is crying cause he’s wet, cold and miserable. The stretch softshell exterior is quiet when on the move and will keep you free from the cold wind, the rain and the snow. It doesn’t get any better than the Celsius Bibs when the weather turns foul and you need to keep focused on the hunt.

Good Lawd those XL talls went quick. I placed my order and when I went back to the home page they were done for. Man I love this website (as long as I got my xl talls). Thanks to the people who got this thing going.

How are these sized? Do they allow for layering or should I order 1 size up?
Any chance of seeing the matching coat anytime soon?

I have the Celsius bibs and they run true to size. I layer 2 or 3 deep underneath with no problems. I am 5″10, 193 lbs and wear a Large.

Thanks Lee for your help. I am 6’4″, 200 lbs and I wear the XL-Tall, although the XL I could likely get away with. They are roomy enough for me to also layer 2-3 deep. The Large was not happening, much like the sizing on the 90% pant for me.
Matching Jacket is scheduled for about 2 weeks out.

Kendall,
Can’t decide between Celsius or 90% lines. Hunting mostly in Texas with conditions in high 20′s to 50′s, stalk hunts and some blind hunting. I’ve been using a set of heavily padded coverall’s that make WAY too much noise for moving through live oaks and mesquites.
Is the Celsius line going to be more warmth than I need or should I wait for 90% so I can layer in the winter and be comfortable in Fall / Spring hunts?

Wade – If you had said “high 20′s to 50′s blind hunting” I would have said the Celsius will be a good fit but once you start hiking around in these bibs if the temps are pushing into the 50′s, they will be warm. I’d have a hard time wearing them without a base layer, but they would be as comfy as a pair of pajama pants with just boxers on underneath. Since you’re hiking around on stalk hunts, I think these will be too warm. I used them last year in -7 to 30 degree temps and with 30 degrees (snow on the ground) hiking steep hills I was very warm, with a thick base layer under which I could have gone lighter one. I hope this info helps, wouldn’t want you to buy them and have them not work out.

Thanks for the feedback and I think they’re more than I need, plus wanting to use them for Fall and Spring when the temps can get into the 70′s they’d be uncomfortable.

Kendall,
So did I read your post correctly, Sitka Celsius Jackets in two weeks or so, any XL or even XXL to be had then? If so you just made my day!

Hey guys, I have a Celsius Jacket, RealTree AP size Medium I’d like to sell. It’s brand spanking new and Kendall said I could put out here. I bought it here and after much deliberation (and the chance to get a Large Celsius during the Sitka-palooza weekend!) I’ve decided to try to sell it. Basically, I want to be able to fit a down vest underneath it, and I couldn’t with the Medium.
So…If anyone is interested I’ll sell it for what I paid here in July, which I believe was 120$ + shipping. So let’s say 130$ and I’ll ship it priority to you.
Thanks!

I pulled the trigger on the bibs this morning and didn’t add the beanie as I thought I had one. Turns out I didn’t…any chance you guys could throw one in the order for me??
Thanks
Dave

I received my Nimbus pants, Love em. They fit perfectly over my 90% pants. When will we see the Nimbus jackets again? I missed them last time.I need 2XL.
Thanks. Great site, bad for my marriage.

Kendall,
Hope there are some L Celsius jackets in MM pattern to be had. If supply is limited can I “pre-order”?
I did sign up for the email alert and will be watching

Brian – if you’re on top of your game, you’ll get a Large Celsius. There are a good supply, but not enough that you should wait until mid afternoon to check the site.
Neil – I think there are 2XL. Insider tip – Oct 5, 11pm MST. Be there.

Wondering if we will be seeing any 90% or Ascent lines in the near future. I bought a L 90% jacket and was a little small. Need a XL and Pants to match.

Kendall,
What does this Team realtree compare to in the sitka line? Is it quiet? is it warm at all like the celsius? Need to go a different route for bowhunting because I am so unlucky when it comes to getting a Celsius jacket in XL or XXL (cant ever seem to get one)!
Thanks for some advise.

Jason – We here at Camofire think the Big Game line from Team Realtree is as good if not better than anything Sitka makes. Stretch Goretex fabric is bomber and these are as quiet if not more than the Sitka comparable product – Stormfront. The one thing the Team Realtree may lack are the extra bells and whistles that Sitka has like nifty zipper pulls, integrated belts, extra sleeve pocket, etc. Trust me, I love the Sitka gear and hunt in it 80% of the time, but the Big Game jacket and bib are the thickness of the 90% line but with Goretex soft shell. There you have it, my $.02

I have the Team Realtree jacket and bibs that I got from camofire last year and like them a lot. They are far superior to the celcius line because they are softshell goretex and waterproof where the celcius is not waterproof. I am a huge sitka fan and own most of their stuff but my cold weather gear is the Team realtree big game jacket and pants. They do not fit as well as the sitka stuff does on me but they cost a lot less than the coldfront series which is what they are comparable to.
If you are wanting to fit warm layers underneath then make sure to order a size up. If you are wanting to use minimal layers underneath and use them as primary camo then order your normal size.

I just finished a weekend in pure Oregon sunshine (aka rain all weekend non-stop) wearing the Team Realtree Big game pants and jacket that I just received last week.
All I can say is outstanding! Extremely happy with nearly every aspect of the gear. Waterproof – check! Quiet – check! Durability – so far so good, but didn’t walk the reprod or the blackberry bushes yet. I am confident they will hold up pretty well.
My only gripe at this time is the suspenders, which like to do a little too good a job of making me look like Steve Urkel. That being said, they are removable, but when walking around the suspenders do a good job of keeping the pants clear of my legs while making that big step up onto a log or whatever.
So good that my old man isn’t satisfied with his yellow Bi-mart slickers anymore and all of a sudden he wants some fancy Gore-tex softshells! (we might have to talk on that one Kendall)

Joey – great feedback, useful and to the point. I keep telling guys this jacket and the bib pants are as good of stuff as we’ve ever sold, at a killer price for the quality.
I have the same issue with the suspenders.
You know how to contact me.

Hey i was wondering what you guys have in the form of a cold weather jacket that is waterproof as well. Doing a late season moose hunt and realised i am a bit underequipped. Anything in Sitka? I have been really impressed with their gear. Thanks
