I am new to camofire. I have been buying sitka gear as I see good deals on others sites…..wish I had knew about camofire before now. I bought the Celcius bibs here today. I have noticed three different sizing charts out there mainly in the waist sizes. Is this sizing chart for the bibs in XL dead on? One has XL waist size as 40-42 (sage creek)…one has it at 38-41″ (sitka site) ..and here it is listed as 36-38″. Do they run small?

Jack – our sizing chart is an adjustment from the Sitka chart that they gave us. We made the adjustments after selling, wearing and trying on many of their items and we felt that the sizes weren’t entirely accurate. A lot of the confusion on Sitka sizing stems from their sizes in 2007 which were wacky to begin with and then they corrected them in 2008 so that it runs more true to size.

Jon – solid downpour rain? After a while you may get a little wet. I’d rate them at 95% waterproof if I had to give it a rating. Not the goretex/rain slicker style waterproof but they’ll keep you dry in everything but a hurricane. My buddy was putting a stalk on a mule deer in the snow and spent an hour crawling in the mud/snow to get the shot. Ended up missing the deer but was dry and warm in these the entire time.

Thanks for answer. Ill mainly use them after a rainstorm when all the bushes are covered with water and can soak you to the bone in a real hurry. Would they keep me dry for that kind of use

They didn’t make the 2007 90% pant in a tall that I am aware of. The 90% lite pant we’ve offered in a tall and will offer them up again in the Mossy Oak treestand pattern and the Realtree AP pattern

Just got my Celcius bib today! Thanks Kendall! Since some people use this forum for product reviews, I thought I would let everyone know that the Large fits me perfectly. I’m 5’10″, 195 lbs, 35-36 waist in almost everything. I have short legs, but these bib legs are perfect for me. I also bought the Celsius jacket in Large, and it fits me fine as well. It’s supposed to be athletic, and I can tell the athletic arms will be great for bowhunting (not baggy and in the way like other jackets).
