QUESTION: We have had the question “What’s the 90% Lite and how does it differ from the 90% jacket you’ve sold before”
ANSWER: The 90% Lite is the 2008-09 90% jacket. It’s just a little thinner (not quite as thick of a fleece liner) than the 2007 90% jacket that we’ve sold in the past and it doesn’t have a hood. Sitka found that a number of hunters never used the hood and wanted something they could still use as an outer shell but could layer under vs having something that was thick and often too warm.

Excellent jacket at an excellent price. If it weren’t for Camofire, I couldn’t afford this high of quality gear! Now, I just need some Ascent Pants in Med Tall, and I’m all set!

I have noticed the last bit of Sitka gear has been camo patterns other than Mothwing Mountain Mimicry. Any pants or vest coming soon in Mothwing? I sure hope so-I would have bought a pair of pants today but want the Mothwing pattern.

Cory – yep, we’ve been mixing it up with the patterns. Mountain Mimicry is still a go to pattern and although we won’t have it in the 90% Lite we’ll have some in the 2007 90% pant coming up soon. Vests are a different story – just larger sizes (XL and bigger). Thanks for checking in.
