The Core Crew Base Layer Shirt from Sikta combines the technology of Polartec Power Dry fabric with scent elimination for a base layer that is at the pinnacle of performance for the outdoor athlete.
Polartec Power Dry is designed to keep your skin dry when you sweat by being highly breathable, moving moisture away from the skin and then it spreads it around within the fabric so that it’ll dry faster. The fit of this shirt includes the raglan style shoulders which wont bunch up, something you’ll be thankful for when hiking with a pack.
The fabric has anti-microbial silver encapsulated into it to eliminate odors, keeping you in the hunt. The Core is perfect piece as a base layer in early mornings but just as well will wear great as your only layer during the August bow hunt when you want to cover up with camo but don’t need to be too hot. As a avid watcher and buyer of Camofire….there are days…especially Sitka weekend I am cussing the Med guys because
they are the ones to close it out so we can go to next item. But then it flip flops and the XXL, XXXL guy are the turtles. You never know.

For camping gear, check out Cheap n Steep. That’s their specialty. Camofire should stay hunting-oriented IMO.

Denny/Les – This is great feedback. And I agree – http://www.SteepandCheap.com is a great site for camping gear among other things. We continually get suggestions for camping gear and while some brands like a North Face or Sierra Designs is clearly not hunting brands others like Kelty and Slumberjack crossover quite well. Heck, I’ve seen a load of Kelty stuff in Sportsman’s, but again, that doesn’t make it a hunting brand. We want to stay as core as possible to the brands that identify with hunting. We appreciate this kind of feedback and discussion. OH, and Denny – yes, you’ll see fishing products here very soon.

If I start buying fishing equipment and start fishing also, my wife will have to clone me to get anything done at home. I’ll blame Camofire.
