Heck yes man get out there. We went last weekend to build this one. brushed in my double bull blind. Farthest shot Id have to make is 45 yards. Plus we got to see the big 450lb black bear thats been visiting our little honey hole! cant wait to see the pics off the game cam at the end of the month.

I have this same Cot and it is awesome!!! It will hold up to the XXL guy for sure. If your in need of a nice cot don’t miss out on this price or come hunting season you will kick yourself when you have to Therarest it on the hard ass ground when you could sleep in style.

I have this cot as well. I am close to 300 lbs, and I am sure by the time my ultracomfort pad and -30 sleeping bag are in place, I come closer to the 325 weight limit than I would like. That being said, it is a great cot. I bought it as a backup to my 25lb heavy duty super cot. The Alps cot has a little more ‘head to toe rocking’ movement than I am used to. It is stable and seems to easily hold the weight, but feel that I may roll the legs at any time if I move too much in the night. I have yet to do it, and may never, but it is in the back of my mind when sleeping. It is otherwise well made, and light for its duty. The carrying case is also a lot better than my 25lb HDSC as it was ripped by the 3rd outing. For the money, you can’t beat it. I had one of the engineers draw up this little sketch to help illustrate my point. Remember, this has NOT occurred. Kids, don’t try this at home, I am a professional. (belly is not to scale)

Kendall, did the cot sell through? Having discussion with wife on it and refreshed to find bag up. I realize that’s what I get for overthinking but when you know your gonna be bad when other items come back up one needs to realize that this could become their permanent bed

Rick – sold out in a hurry. Funny thing – I pulled an all nighter at the office a few weeks back and around 3am I figured I could use some shut eye. So I did what any self respecting Camofire employee would do – pulled down a XL Alps cot and an Alps sleeping bag, set it up and had myself a Camofire Campout right there in the warehouse. The bag I kept (I guess I needed a car camping bag) and the cot slept like a dream. A buddy bought the cot so I didn’t feel too bad telling him I set it up to “make sure it was all good”.
