Description:
From a strong breeze to a blast of cold air, the lightweight, breathable Gale Level 4 Jacket will keep you warm and dry with extreme wind protection and moisture resistance. Ideal as an outer layer in low precipitation conditions or as a mid-layer as part of the full five-level system the Gale will stand up to the elements. Multi-directional stretch fabric allows movement in any position without constriction and the tapered sleeves are ideal for archers as pulling back and letting an arrow fly will be uninhibited by the jacket.
DWR-treated for durable water-repellent protection that. Quiet, abrasion-resistant fabric gives you extreme comfort while the textured fleece lining traps air and keeps you warm without adding thicker fleece like other jackets. Rather than sew on the zippers they are bonded to reduce stress areas where stitching could degrade the fabric’s structure. Stretch storm cuff inside the sleeve and articulated elbows round out the features of what could easily be said is a one of a kind jacket.

Dang. You guys going to start carrying that Russell APXg2 line of stuff? I saw it at the local Gander Mountain and it felt really nice and seemed worth it but for the retail price? No thanks. For the CamoFire price? That’s much more affordable. I think Russell will do well with this stuff. It’s price point is much better for someone like me, the layering system is much more intuitive, the Mossy Oak Treestand is good stuff, and it seems to be very nice quality.

Nick – we’ve hunted in this stuff quite a bit this past season and it’s bomber and well built. We’ve been hearing that they will be adding Max 1 to their camo patterns for next year.

Apxg2 is better than Sitka in my opinion. I have both, all layers and just love the stuff. This jacket in black would be a hit for street wear too. The L3 shirt is a great base under the L4 gale jacket. I’m very excited to see this top of the line equipment.

I’ve worn my L2 and L3 shirt and jacket alot since I bought it last year, I’m sold on the APXg2 line, the stuff is awesome! You guys going to be offering the L3 soft shell pants anytime soon? I also noticed you had some blacks creek on here earlier, Im interested in the Barbarian Featherweight, maybe I’ll be able to snag it at a camofire price soon huh?

Brandon – great feedback on the APXg2 stuff. The L3 Zephyr pants will be up either tomorrow night or on Friday. Barbarian Featherlte – I doubt we’ll get it on Camofire really soon. It’s still too new….but I will tell you from experience that it’s an awesome pack!

i have the apxg2 line, and some sitka, i love both of them and think they actually complement each other well, like the 90% fits a little in between the l3 soft shell and the l4 gale line. and if you need the sitka mots stuff matches to a t, with the exception of the zippers grey vs black. hey on another note i grabbed the l5 rain jkt, any chance i will be able to pick up the l5 rain pants anytime soon? i will be needing them. thanks for the deals!

Thanks Kendall, Im looking forward to completing my APX line, I got the Alpine base layers on here the other night! I like the wind/water extreme water resistance, it truly is extreme, ive worn it alot and though not through any sever stuff what it has been through has impressed me!

Kendall, did I miss the L5 stuff? You mentioned that you were going to have more up this week… but I didn’t see any. Really stoked on the ApxG2 lineup. I used the L5 raingear last year, and it didn’t let a drip in. Kept me out hunting the bulls while others were scattering for the tents. I hope you pick up more of this line, as I think they can give Sitka a run for their money!
