Can someone clear up the confusion as far as sizing with reference to Russell clothing. if you compare what Camofire is putting on their site with what Russell outdoor clothing has on their site there is a difference, which one is correct. I’m looking at the Russell Cyclone rain pant, on Camo fire XL is listed as a 36-38 waist, on Russell XL when ordering those same pants are 42-44 waist. 36-38 seems small for an XL. Help anyone??

I brought up the issue of contradictory Russell size charts in the forum back on 10/27. I can give you a data point on these pants. I am 6’2″, about 230lbs and have about a 38 1/2 inch waist (hoping to get back down to 200lbs and a 36 inch waist next year….). I ordered the Russell Cyclone pant in XL a year ago from Gander Mountain and I was swimming in them so I returned them for a L and the L fits me great. Unless Russell has changed the design of the Cyclone pants and made the waists smaller than they were in 2011, then I would go by the size chart on the Russell website.
