strong>Today’s First Deal: RUSSELL APXg2 L2 TUNDRA PANTS
Regular Retail Price: $99.99
Camofire Price: $39.95 – 60% OFF Retail

Description:
Depending on external conditions, the Tundra L2 pant by Russell Outdoors can be worn as a second layer of the APXg2 system or as the only base layer. With wind control panels covering key areas that are prone to wind exposure these bottoms will keep you comfortable when that north wind is howling. The L2 bottoms are equipped with Dri-Power Russell Outdoors moisture management technology that wicks moisture away from skin surfaces. Anti-microbial and Scent-Stop technologies are also incorporated to help block scent from escaping and entering a monster bull’s nose. With no side seems for extreme comfort and Flatlock sticking for reduced bulk these bottoms were created as a chafe-free garment. A grid pattern in the fleece traps body heat and maintains warmth. For a cold weather insulator layer or as a base layer there is no going wrong with the L2 Tundra bottom by Russell Outdoors.

Don’t know what I was thinking with the combined order, Kendall. Baby showed up on Wednesday, and I haven’t had a moment to think about filling that box up since! Looks like a Russell marathon; any core-crew type shirts?

Jeremy – congrats on the new arrival! I hope mom and baby are healthy and doing well. Core type shirts might show tomorrow.
Dan – Tundra pullover shirts (1/4 zip) coming up within 2 weeks. Lots of them (tell your friends)

Good morning my fellow Camofire mates!
First off I know there are some haters out there that think camping gear shouldn’t find a place Here on Camofire. However I am gearing up for a week long backcountry archery trip this year. That being said is there any way to get some more tents and backcountry gear up here? Maybe jetboil flash??? Bivey sets??? MRE style meals???PLEASE??? And anything else I (and all backcountry) hunters might need! Thanks Kendall

Kendall you really are killing me with the ladies sizes and kids sizes and only the large in the bow hunting gloves??? What about us guys with small framed bodies but big dreams?
I guess it’s easier on my bank account! Haha

I bought these last time they were up, great glove and very warm. I’ve used the older fleece holdback mitten for several seasons, these are an improvement on their original design. The magnets are bigger or stronger and do a better job of holding the mitten back. I also spent a week for a pair I had washed…not realizing they had stuck to the top of the dryer drum…

Montana, I’m right there with you, buddy! The jetboil or pack stove would be an AWESOME addition to my hunting gear! I’ll admit it, I’ve been a ‘hike it back to camp’ hunter thus far, which usually causes me to pack on the extra miles… but I’ll gladly throw the pack together if that’s what’s necessary to find the bulls!
Kendall, I’ll keep an eye out for the core-type shirts. If I miss ‘em, it’s likely because I’m trying to catch a wink of sleep. Don’t hold it against me!

Greg – that is a funny deal with the glove magnet sticking it to the drum of the dryer. I bet you figured it had gone the way of the left sock eh?

One more here that’s setting up for some pack-in camp adventure hunting! Need just about everything to get set up. All I got is a pack so far, not from camofire sadly…just had to bite the bullet. Ill be watching for stoves etc!!

@ Kendall: yeah, pretty much felt the fool when I figured out what had happened. I’ll misplace stuff, but I rarely out right lose stuff. We got a good laugh out of it in the end.
