Eric – I’ve got two pair of Rocky boots in the hunting closet, both came with a decent arch. They felt like a good atheltic shoe and had good quality inserts. I’ve replaced one set of inserts with a heavy duty sport set, but just from normal wear and compression from walking with a load. I ordered these, and expect they’ll be the same for support.

Got them and the arch was not as supportive as I’d hoped. Those that like a strong arch, pass on these unless you go the insert route.
