Fit Tip: Rocky 10″ Mudsox
If you wear a 1/2 size than size down (10.5 needs to order a 10). If you wear a whole size, select your normal size. They are roomy.

Hey Kendall/Greg,
Just thought I would let you all know that I receive my C4E Primoloft cold gear Jacket. I have to say that I am duly impressed but not surprised with C4E! Their products are awesome and I would easily compare them with Sitka. Even one of my “elitist” Sitka buddies has conceded that C4E is every bit as good as his Sitka and in many ways better designed.
I will say that the C4E Primoloft Jacket is an “athletic” fit. I am normally a 42″-44″ chest depending upon the manufacturer but not “athletic” the rest of the way down! But I am by no means fat just normal.
Their large jacket fits that description (42-44″) and it fits but may be snug for layering but I will be using it up here in the hinterlands (Alberta Canada) for our late fall season as it would not be quite enough for late season here. For that I have the incinerator.
Anyway…the point I am making here is that it is a snuggish fit if you want cold layering and for my size (42-44) I would size up to XL. Otherwise fantastic product again!
Greg/Kendall….do you know if they will be coming out with a primoloft vest a la Sitka Kelvin? I would love one of those in the Mothwing pattern! As well, any news on a Mothwing ball cap….we are all still waiting and I am sure C4E would sell out if they had some.
Many thanks again to the whole Camofire crew! You guys are awesome!
P.S. For your northern friends a cheaper shipping option would make it even better…

Trevor – awesome feedback and I’ll definitely pass that along as well as make an adjustment to the description so guys know to size up if they are planning to layer. I guess I didn’t think much about layering after trying on the XL and it was super warm for me. Then again, in my time in Canada last fall I layered up under the Incinerator jacket quite a bit.
Regarding ball caps, I was told they may be here by Monday/Tuesday of next week. They are a tech fabric (same as the Switchback pant) with a Velcro closure back. The sample I tried on was super comfy. It was here in the office hanging on my elk rack but then magically disappeared.
Yes, cheaper shipping north of the border is a deal killer. We found a solution, we think, and after today’s upgrade to our shipping module we’ll be a little closer to implementing it. I know you guys up north have been MORE than patient, but bear with us a little longer. Along with the solution we found, it may allow us to offer the combined shipping to Canada. We have been doing some testing with a couple of repeat order offenders from Canada and the info we gathered has been valuable. Trust me when I say this that making your life better from a shipping standpoint will make our life better too.

Kendall, I was planning on coming down to the International Sportsmens Expo this weekend in SLC. Will Camofire or any of the C4E crew have a booth this year?

Ty – not going to be at the ISE show. We went back and forth on it but in the end opted not to do that show. Wear your Camofire shirt at the show, send us a photo (post it on our Facebook wall) and we’ll send you one of the Core4 ball caps that are arriving soon. Deal?

Kendall, thanks for the quick response! I’m wanting to get ahold of you to pitch an idea to you guys. Actually, the whole reason I wanted to come down to the ISE was to talk to you guys. Jax stores hunting merchandise buyer, Tom I believe, told me that getting ahold of you on here was probably the best bet. I know that this probably isn’t the best route for further conversations, and certainly not what this forum is for, but I thought it was worth a shot to get ahold of you. Please email me back and I would love to fill you guys in! Thanks!!

Speaking of the C4E Primoloft cold gear Jacket, we going to see any more?
I’ve been kicking myself for not pulling the trigger on the jacket and bibs after checking out my buddies jacket.

Kendall,
Thanks for all the effort you guys are putting in on the Canadian Shipping…it is greatly appreciated!
I can’t wait for the ball caps and I am sure they will be a superior product like all the C4E stuff is!
How about a C4E primoloft vest? Any news?
Thanks again,

Sorry Cory, sold out of all the Element vests. Likely no more until June/July time. I heard the Element Vest may undergo some surgery. I’ll update when I get the facts.
