Cool, welcome home. I work in Wilsonville. Raised in SW Portland. You go sailing on the Columbia and you typically won’t have to worry about it. I’m interested in the Burris scopes also. I think you guys do the best you can. There is always gonna be someone bummed out about missing a sweet deal-especially on a rifle scope. That’s why you have the all expense paid trips to the ‘Camofire Elk Camp’, right? Have a good vacation.

Here’s an interesting development for guys looking for rifle scopes. We bought some (brand new of course) scopes from the outgoing Burris rep but we’ve only got 1 of each. So I’m going to put together the list with the Camofire and retail pricing and will post it here in the forum. I’ll give the subscribers to the email a heads up by including it in the email the night before. Then we’ll take it on a first call first come basis for orders. Figure it may tick off more guys that not if we post them on the site with only 1 available for each scope and they get a text message only to see the scope gone. Thoughts on this?

I ordered a pair of the Core4 Element pants. They look to be a little warmer than the 90% pants.
Are the Switchback pants simliar to the Ascent pants or 90%. I like the weight of the 90% pants for my late October mountain hunts where is it below freezing in the morning and 60s in the afternoon. The fleece lining was just the ticket. The Ascent pants were a little light.
