I’m shocked … SHOCKED that the Field Pups haven’t sold out. They are razor sharp out of the box and hold that edge very well. I think too many people go for the serrated edge because they think it’ll cut better. I actually field dressed a doe with mine (from CamoFire) and it nearly “unzipped” her too fast. There’s no telling what else you can do with it.
I’d like to see that upgraded sheath that SOG makes on here. Not that the standard one is bad. I’m just being greedy!

Nick – you shocked now? You’re right, this knife is one of the best we’ve offered and luckily we picked up more of them just in time for Christmas. If anyone missed out we’ll have them back up at least once if not twice between now and Christmas.

I bought an SOG knife from here before the big game season this year. No complaints about the knife whatsoever. It came razor sharp and cut through my elk and all the various things I had to cut during a month long hunt.
I do have a major complaint about the nylon sheath. My knife poked a hole in its own sheath after just a few weeks of wear! Count me among those who would like to see the upgraded sheaths available.
