Description:
Nikon realizes that there are times when you wish a bino would perform like a spotting scope, to zoom in and then to zoom out. The Eagleview 8-24×25 Zoom Binoculars are the answer in a compact size. Using a unique zoom lever that delivers extra-smooth performance, the Eagleview will have you seeing the color of that Whitetail buck’s eyes. At just 350 grams (12.3 ounces) and 119mm (4.6″) in length, you can take them virtually anywhere and hardly notice you’ve got them.
Even though they are lightweight and compact, the multilayer coated lenses and soft turn-and-slide eyecups combine to give you a comfortable glassing experience that gathers light surprisingly well for a smaller objective lens. Ideal for treestand hunting and all archery hunting where shorter distances can require zoom capabilities through brush and forest, the Eagleview is a solid bino that you’ll discover is a worthy piece of your hunting gear this season.

Anybody know how these “Sitka” boxers compare to the C4E ones?

Also curious how the med boxers would fit on a 33″ waist?

Mike – I’m a 36″ and the Large fits snug (not too snug mind you) and the XL fits “relaxed”. I’d say at 33″ waist, the Med is spot on. That’s my $.02.
Andy – these boxers are comfortable for sure, not merino wool soft like the C4E, but soft and cozy. One plus for sure may be that the synthetic fabric may hold up a bit longer than natural fabric of the merino. Fit will be similar to the C4E boxer.

Ok Kendall it says (Pulls moisture away from body!) with these Sitka Boxers! So where is the moisture coming from? and where is it going?

Hey guys, new to camofire, but I’ve been watching like a hawk for a rangefinder since I discovered this site. Anyone know if they pass through here that often?
Cabelas opens in my town next week, and I’m sure the temptation to buy one once their open will get the better of me. Would love to find a good deal here and support a site like this that helps us all overspend a little less (though I do feel a little guilty now for making fun of my wives shoe app when I now check my phone every two hours to see the next deal…)

Fallout23 – We are supposed to be getting some Nikon Prostaff 550 rangefinders sooner than later. I anticipated they would be here by now, but Nikon is delayed in shipping them to us. We will have them before summer hits, so please if you can hand in there. If you get itchy to get something sooner, no worries. I understand! Thanks for the support.

Thanks for the reply! My finger has already gotten plenty itchy and I’ve pulled the trigger on quite a few other deals on here already
Thanx again for such a great site. I’ve already sent 4 ppl here since I’ve found it. Now as long as they don’t snatch the last item from under my fingers, everything should be fine…

Ancient Chinese secret of happy relationships- buy her the new shoes first…then check the Camofire deals. I’m simply matching her new Italian leather with my new Crispis…it all works out. And we all are checking the deals…

Hey Kendall,
Can we expect to see any Sitka gear coming up in the near future? Looking for pants in particular (Ascent, 90%, Stratus bibs, etc.)
Thanks!

Fleece – but it’s not perfect for every hunting situation. You’d have to give some details on what type of hunting (archery, spot and walk, treestand) and what type of weather you are planning to hunt in to get a better answer.
I’ll go out on a limb and say that most of us buying here are looking for a soft faced Goretex fabric with waterproof properties and a bonded soft fabric shell to cover the Goretex crinkle “noise”. Almost all hunting outer layers are water repellent treated, but the Goretex is the most popular for waterproof wear. 2 cents…
