Adam, Those socks are a good midweight sock. It really depends on your boot, but for burly cold weather you’d likely want a thicker sock. If your boots are insulated and you don’t like a thick bulky sock and will hike or walk a fair amount, I personally go with the midweight. At $8.99 a 2-pack you’ll likely wish you had bought 2-3 of the 2-packs once you try one. Watch for them to come around again for Spring and Fall use.
