Anybody else had a problem with the Core4 Element 190 Merino Boxer blowing out? I bought a pair 6 months ago and just this weekend the crotch on them tore out! They were awesome up until that point? Been waiting to order another pair on CamoFire but I don’t want to if this is common. any help would be great, still might pull the trigger anyways, they were just that comfortable and warm

Yea, I did too. Just wore for hunting days and Backcountry ski days. They rocked until the crotch blew out. I already ordered 2 more last week and I did noticed they went to a 50/50 blend. Withholding judgement till the end of winter. I am also planning on picking up the long bottoms, the 100% merino wool icebreakers long pants has the same problem with crotch rot, at least the C4E are a better price than the Icebreakers.

Last years model was 100% merino wool. The 2012 model of boxer is 50% polyester and 50% merino wool. This will allow for stronger, more durable boxer brief. The boxer will wick and dry quicker while maintaining the scent control properties of merino wool.
