I don’t know where they Hunt moose with the Bad lands 2200 pack? Well where I hunt moose in Alaska, a quarter would dwarf 4 of those packs. i’m just speaking my mind not tryin to offend anyone.

I used my 2200 this past fall on a Utah Moose Pack out. You are right the Quarter off of a Moose is much larger than an Elk or Deer but to be honest the pack did the job. We had no choice as our external packs were not accessible in November. Utah Moose are not as large as your Alaska Moose but the pack still took the weight on a 1.5 mile pack out.

My theory is use what you have if you are in a situation and don’t have the right equipment. My haul was a last minute help for a buddy. Trust me I have hauled my share and know how to haul with my own pack and horses. Would I recommend the 2200 for Moose? Hell no. Elk and Deer? Absolutely! Cheers and good hunting!
