Sizing comparison? I just bought the Rocky Silent stalker and love them. (to me they fit similar to a Merrel and are very lightweight) I would assume these Georgia boots are more “boot-like”, with a heavier sole and more support everywhere? What size would you recommend if the 9.5 Rocky Silent Stalker fit perfectly?

@Drew…I’ve been reading about the C4E torrent pants…as far as sizing, many has said that its too long…I believe it should be shorter, but then again you can’t beat that price…just to let you know I tried on the sitka downpour pant and I believe it says 32 inseam on the website…but when I measured it, it was 33…the torrents inseam is 33 or 33.5, I don’t believe it’ll be that bad as far as length goes…I’m hoping its close to the downpour as far as length…I’m 5’6…it might be cringed a little but o well can’t do anything About that…hope this helps!!!

Regarding the C4E torrent pants
I was reading about a guy that was 200 pounds and six foot tall complaining about his inseam being 3 inches too long on a large…just my 2 cents.

@duane
I don’t believe so…it might be long for him but then again you should measure your inseam…the only way to know…too bad this stuff isn’t available for anyone to try on…

I hunted in Wyoming last September, Hiked in 9 miles to over 10,000 foot elevation. I have a pair of Crispi Kanada’s that I bought through this website, as far as I’m concerned you cannot go wrong with these boots. They are very comfortable and light weight. Spent over two weeks in the high country and they performed flawlessly. Hope this helps, I would definately recommend them.

You’ll be moving a lot, so keep the sitka, russell, and core4element products on your radar. As for boots, can’t go wrong w/ good boots, b/c w/out feet you can’t hunt! Look into Lowa and kenetrek. I have both and I’m dang glad I DO. The crispi’s on this site look good, but do yourself a favor and try some on, ordering blindly will lead to disappointment.

I used the rocky ten pocket pants and the core 4 element switchback pants in Wyoming last year and both are top notch, both were purchased from Camo Fire, the swithback pants have come up a few times in the last year, in fact just ordered a couple of pairs last weekend. Have not seen the rocky pants in about 6 months, which is a bummer because I really like them, very comfortable, hopefully camo fire gets more.
