Parker – I’ve only tried on the Labrador once and it was a while ago…but I seem to recall it fit just a hair big. I’ll try to get a confirmation on that. Anyone have experience recently trying on the Labrador?

Does anyone have any experience with the quality of this stuff? I can’t really see merino functioning as an outer layer (Labrador) espectially going into and out of stand or stalking with stickers, briars, etc… Just seems like it would get all torn up pretty quick. Anyone?

I have used the Llano Top (Thin base layer) as my stand alone layer on elk hunts this fall. It held up well and did not get ripped up at all. I would think this would be much more durable then the Llano. (because its really thin)

yes, same thing happened for me. not a big deal, if you have them id appreciate a medium in dry earth. if they are sold out than i will stay with the ASAT one I put through on my order

Does anyone have any experience with the Camas Workshirt that will be coming up later today? I want a full, functional set of first lite stuff (I ordered the labrador and plan on getting the springer vest as well, and the lama and chama when I can get them, as well as other pieces they offer), just not sure if I would ever put on the button-up Camas if I have all the rest. I’ve never found much use for a shirt collar out in the woods. I seldom wear a tie when hunting….

Parker – that was an error in our system. Someone here adjusted the inventory after it was live on the site so it showed the bar full when it was actually gone. Took us a bit to fix it (Camofire Christmas lunch today for the crew) so I’m very sorry for what was likely a frustrating experience.

I have been trying to get the springer vest in a medium in the dry earth for the last 20-30 min- It won’t allow me to purchase even tho the bar shows availability. What’s up with that.
I still want one but am unable to continue due to other commitments. Any help would be appreciated

I have been waiting for some First Lite to show up on the Daily Shooter for a while..so glad to see it today. Since it is so close to Christmas, I came up with a diabolical scheme to forward what I wanted to my girlfriend. Hahaha…

If you wear a medium shirt and are using a medium sized merino base layer, get the medium sweater. I owned a medium camas and did not like the fact that the bottom of the shirt does not have a button. The camas shirt also fit more snug than the sweater.

Trust me when I say this, but I would LOVE to have a huge hall full of Camofire customers for a Christmas lunch. Man, that would be fun.
Gotta put a plug here for NIKEid: Aside from the Christmas lunch and year end bonuses, all of the employees got to go to http://www.nikeid.com and design the shoe of their choice. Pretty fun to watch everyone figure out which shoe they want and what colors to pick out. I was manning the phones while walking around to the various computers to see what each person was creating. Super fun site and would make a great gift for Christmas….after a deal from Camofire first, of course.

Hello Kendall,
Recently you had the First Lite Full Zip Sweater and I was trying to convince my wife to get one and somewhere in the confusion between sizes and color the time ran out. There was still product left though and I want to know if I can still purchase one or do I have to wait until it comes round again? If possible she needs a Med Mossy Oak or ASAT.

A Guy who takes me hunting alot is in love with the ASAT pattern. He was telling me he wanted a warm vest but could not find one in ASAT. Finally I found one it was going to be an awesome Christmas present. I place my order on Friday very excited, call to confirm on monday everything is still good. Then I get an email stating that there was an inventory error so my order was cancelled. They offered me a different pattern but the whole reason for the order was for the ASAT. They said that if I changed pattern they would have only charged $5 for shipping a whopping $1.99 off. Probably was the most disappointing email in along time.
