I purchased several pairs of these Lorpen Merino socks from Camofire a short time ago and have been wearing them for a couple of weeks or so. I like them so much that I am ordering another 10 pairs of the socks. As to the irregular nature of the socks, I have found on a few isolated socks that there was an area that was not fully stitched where the ankle, heel and foot panels met on the side of the socks and left a whole there. It took me about two minutes per sock to stitch up that area which had them looking and functioning just about as good as new. If I didn’t know the stitching was there, I would not be able to tell. These are excellent socks at a very good price. The fit is perfect; they are comfortable; and they come out of the wash looking like new. I recommend them.

Allan – thanks for taking the time to post a review of the Lorpen socks. More than one hunter I know has been stoked on these socks. A customer stopped by the warehouse today who is doing some painting for us and when in here last time picking up some gear asked about socks. I had basically told him “buy the socks and if you don’t like them bring them back for a refund”. Well, he was wearing the socks today and wanted to get more of them.

I am currently deployed to an undisclosed location and have a plethora of camofire goodies waiting for me at the house upon my return. My wife has asked me to stop, but I can’t.
