I just found out I’m addicted to buying different packs…is that normal? Luckily I’m broke right now because I really want to buy this pack just to try it out…I didn’t like the 2200 but like the way this little guy looks!

Clay – my 2 cents: It’s a tall pack and for the size, doesnt carry a lot of stuff for the sheer size. I pulled the metal bars and used it as a carry on for travel to an elk hunt out in Idaho, the bag was too big for travel comfort. It’s not an airline bag, got it, but it should be an indication of the ease of travel for an entire trip. The batwing design is great for hauling out a quarter, but I found it less suited for carrying a days worth of gear (lunch, water, raingear) than I would have liked. With the batwing wrapped down around the pack and the waist belt, I didn’t find that it would haul much stuff bigger than a spare clip. The spotting scope pocket is great add, and the access through the back panel is great. Hope this helps, mine is regulated to just being a meat hauler.

@Adrian, Jim, Dan.. It was our mistake by putting the sizing chart up. There is no large or medium for the Super Day pack. They are all the same size.

Thanks for putting up the Badlands Superday Pack at such a great price. I’ve been wanting to get this pack for quite awhile. I bought it earlier today and believe it has already been shipped. However, somebody brought up a point that I didn’t think of in regards to the sizing of the pack. Is there any way to find out if these packs are medium or large or all the same size? Thank you.

Kendall, i’ve been torn between the Core 4 switchback pant and the Sitka Ascent pants. What can you tell me to help me with my descision. I do like a roomy cargo pockets. ( I hope it’s not get one of each):-)

Once you try the switchback, you won’t go back to the ascent. Better fit and movement cut, same fabric, better price here than anywhere, and more camo patterns than Sitka. Pockets are about the same IMO.

I hope you are right. I was weighing the same decision and pulled the trigger. I like the optifade camo the best, but for lightweight pants it shouldn’t matter all that much. Now if you guys ever listed some Sitka 90% pants, I’d be thrilled!
