Thinking about getting a pair of these boots, I am a true 11.5 size, and will hunt in these boots thru the winter…best to get a 12 so I can wear a thick pair of socks with them…?

These boots are rated for -10 degrees. If you hunt in colder temps than a 12 with thicker socks should be fine.

Just bought the Crispi Wild boots and they arrived today!! By far the most comfortable boot out of the box I have ever owned. I’ve had Meindle, Vasque, Danner, Schee’s, Kenetrek, etc…. These boots are the best constructed, best looking, and best fitting boot hands down. With the Camofire price, you will not find a better boot anywhere. I can’t wait for my fall Colorado Elk bow hunt!

I owned a pair of these boots for about an hour. The last was not for a human foot . I food them impossible to wear and I normally don’t have big problems with fit. The boots also bent ” broke” right across my the front of my ankle as well as heels lifting up. I personally tried 3 different pairs of crispi boots and found non of them fit well or were comfortable. Some guys say they love them ,nobody I know .

Dang, that sucks. All feet are not created equal and it sounds like Crispi is not your brand! I personally own 2 pairs (Summit GTX and Nevada) and they have been like a glove out of the box. My good hunting partner has had the same result on the Wild out of the box. But I also love my Danner Pronghorn and they fit like a glove.
Not saying this might help you (not just with Crisipi, but any boot) is to get a good insole that you like and put them in the boots you end up with. I personally have found the Montrail Insole to be fantastic. I have a bit of a high arch but they mold to my feet very well and so I have them in my trail runners, Danners, both pairs of Crispi…you get the picture. In fact, last summer I bought a pair of Vasque trail runners one week before a trail marathon. Wore the shoes on a 5 mile run and then the entire 26.2. They were great….and I attribute that to the insoles, not the shoes so much. Anyway, good luck with the boots you end up with!
