Rain plays a huge role in the scheme of hunting, but you have a choice, you can either run for the truck or pull on the Torrent Jacket and keep hunting. The Torrent Jacket is a lightweight, waterproof, and breathable jacket that was developed to keep you dry on all hunting adventures.
Everything was taken into consideration when designing this jacket, it all started with the best waterproof/breathable laminated microfiber brushed tricot fabric that was on the market. From there waterproof YKK zippers were added and all seams were taped to ensure no water will seep through. The exterior is treated with DWR for added protection against moisture. It is hard to keep cool while hiking in the rain so the Torrent Jacket is equipped with 11 ¼” mesh lined pit zips for added ventilation.
Velcro cuffs and elastic drawstring hood and hem make it easy to secure the jacket tight around your arms, head, and waist. When not needed the Torrent Jacket is highly compressible and can be stuffed inside one of its two zippered hand warmer pockets. The Torrent Jacket stretches with you as you power up the mountain during a torrential downfall.

Just got my Torrent set of rain gear. I have yet to try it in a hunt, but the fit and design are great. It is super light. I took a look at the MT050 Paclite rain gear, but it is considerably more heavy. I will put the Torrent gear to the test this weekend for late season archery in WA. I do have a question though. The camofire listing and the c4e website both list it as 20,000mm for waterproof and breathability, but the attached tags say 10,000mm for both. Any idea which rating is accurate?

20,000 is the accurate rating. The 10,000 rating is merely a print error. The manufacturer of the fabric actually told C4E that the fabric tested 30,000 waterproof and 20,000 breathability but for the official rating they list it as 20,000 and 20,000.
