Jeff – Merino Camo crew will be either tomorrow or on Sunday mid day. Camo merino hoodie will also make a showing likely Sunday evening. NOTE on the hoodie, it is a different cut because of the hood so watch for notes on this. (it’s more of a athletic cut)

Looks great! Dont see any pockets, but I thought Id ask if there was a chest pocket? Thanks and congrats on the one of a kind shirt. I have several different Camofire merino items and they all perform as advertised.

Dave – no pocket on the merino. At 190 gram weight it’s almost too thin/stretchy to attach a usable pocket. I’ll pass this to the Core4 designer and ask him to give it a go on a chest or shoulder pocket.

Hey Kendall- Any news of cold weather gear with core4element? I like how Sitka has the cold weather gear but i’m not sure how the optifade forest will work here in NY. If you could email me I’d like to get the element jacket and pants.

I used it in Virginia in the hardwoods this Fall, it works great IMO as I had a doe in at 25 yards looking directly at me, but not able to make enough of a pattern to alert her…she’s in the freezer. Any evergreens will only make it work better, but it’s OK in the brown hardwoods here. Hope this helps.

Jeff – not likely. The pants that First Lite does is a special fabric that they developed so I doubt Core4 can get their hands on it to make a Merino pant. Just my $.02.

I have a number of core4element products in black with no problems. I did just purchase the mothwing 1/4 zip and noticed a foul odor ofter washing (twice) and not sure what the cause is. Has anyone else had this problem?
