Roy – I’ll be honest, and you’re not going to like it, but it’s not been a top of the list priority for us to get Australia on board with orders. The few times we’ve entertained it for some guys that have called the shipping charge is such sticker shock to both us and them that it’s proved to be a barrier more often than not. If you’re really interested in buying a few of today’s items, perhaps we could put together an order for you and test the shipping costs. Kendall, as i’ve explained in two previous messages, i dont need the items posted to Australia!!! I wanted them posted to a US address so my friend could bring them to me as we work together in another country. Its just that i can’t use my credit card on your website because it wont allow any cards from outside the US/Canada.
I’ve asked a couple of times and no one offered to help me with an order, i couldnt understand why.
Why its so difficult to allow non north Americans to buy from you if they want, is there any other reason?
I really needed the cold weather bibs when i first wrote.

Roy – if we start to accept credit cards from anywhere outside of US/Canada, we’ll have to have shipping ready to ship anywhere outside of those two countries, irregardless of if you’re shipping to a US address or an address in Australia. So simply allowing a credit card from AU is super easy, click of a mouse for me to change that. Having the shipping set up for all other countries is not quite as simple and hasn’t been the top of our “to-do” list. I’ll make another push for Australia order availability as we seem to be getting a fair amount of attention there. So sorry you’re quite frustrated with us. That’s not our intention, despite what appears simple with your situation of ordering from Australia and shipping to the US. Not sure if it’s an option for you but could your friend order for you and then you can spot him the cash when you’re together? (I know, it’s a royal pain in the….)

Kendal, I ordered a pair of the Rocky Hunting Shoes on Dec. 4th. I got the shipping notice with tracking info on the 5th. The package has never been logged as received by the USPS origin post office. I sent a message to customer service last week and haven’t heard back from them yet. I order on average 3 times a week, usually items are on their way in 24 hours. We are getting close to 100 hours. Any ideas?

Ah yes, our wonderful USPS. Somehow this made it all the way to my area without being scanned once at any prior point.

Next thing…..My rapid fire text alert sucks…..Im not sure if its you guys or my cell carrier. Yesterday I wanted the Sitka pants. Got the alert when there was only size small and no many left. Please help. I buy a ton of stuff on here and want to buy more but the text alerts gotta get to me in time.

Nik – yep, the texts blow right about now. We’ve been promised up and down from our provider that they are working on it. There’s a better system that they have launched, but it’s about 20x more cost so we’re working through the current platform with them. The other thing is Verizon and recently ATT both put additional text filters in place that prevent some messages from mass sends on the “long code” platform we use to be blocked.
We are working to get an iphone/droid app that for customers with smart phone will replace the texts. Last I heard was mid Jan for completion.
As for the Core4 bottoms – I’ve added them to your combined order. Black color, to match your merino tops. Thanks!!

I put several items into my cart as a combined order while I was at work today, but wanted to add more items later when they came up. Now I logged back in and I lost all that was in my cart for a combined order. What am I missing with the process for a combined order? If you have 7 days to add products, why are the items out of my cart when I return? Thanks

Hutch, combined orders work like this: add first item to cart and follow the checkout process. When you come to the step of selecting your shipping you need to select the combined shipping option. Continue the remaining steps to checkout (as if this was the only item you were purchasing). You will finish the purchase and receive a confirmation email once completed.
When another item comes up that you want to purchase follow the same steps. When you get to the shipping step, you will see an add to combined shipping order option for $00.99. Select this option and complete the remaining steps. When complete you will receive another confirmation email.
You can click the “my account” link at the top of the site and scroll to the bottom of the right of that page to see your current combined order and when the items will ship. You can also select the ship now button if you are done adding to the order.

Hutch – Dang! Ok, here’s the deal. You need to pull the trigger and purchase the first item. When you go to check out there is a shipping option that will say “Start a Combined Order”. Select that and then finalize your purchase. Then on all of your subsequent orders you will see as a shipping option “Add to your combined order” which you’ll select. That way you can buy a pile of things, save on shipping and have them sent out at once after 7 days. Simply putting them in your cart will not hold them for you.
Since you missed out on all those items today, it’s not a big deal. Please give us a call and we can build a new order with all the items you wanted and we’ll get the combined order started for you. Sound good? Thanks for expressing your concern here so we could help you out.

Yes James, we do have them. We’re trying to get all of the Core4 merino to show up this week and next as it’s cold basically everywhere and this stuff rocks. (Wore mine skiing this weekend).
