The 2011 model will be in Realtree AP, Mountain mimicry, and max 1. The 2012 model is in Mountain Mimicry and max1. Be sure and measure your waist before ordering. The pants fit true to the tape. On a side note, if you are interested in the 2012 model in mimicry, measure and size up one. The mimicry pants run a little small in the thighs.

Can the merino 1/4 zip coming up be washed and dryed. If so should I expect shrinkage and how does the sizing run?

Wash like normal, hang to dry. Easy care.
I found the sizing a little on the relaxed side. I’m 6′ and skinny (175 lb) and found the Large a little loose for my preference in a base layer. Sleeve and body length was great with some extra length. I’m hoping when I get my Medium to try on it will still have enough length and be a little snug like I like the first layer to be.

I agree with Caleb on the sizing for the merino 1/4 zip. I almost always wear large on top but downsized to medium on these and they fit great for a base layer. I’m 5’10″ and 160 #.

Can anyone help me understand the fundamental difference between the assault shirt and the pivot shirt? It seems like the pivot is slightly lighter, and therefore, better as an under layer or warm weather shirt. If anyone has both, I’d be interested in your opinion on if one or the other is better, or if they’re just for different scenarios. Thanks!

Kevin, size down for a base type layer. I’m with the other guys, I normaly wear large tops, but sized down to a medium, it fits perfect. If its too loose, it won’t do what a vest is supposed to be for. And if it fits snug, it will be easier to layer on top of it.
